DEBIT AND CREDIT CARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Calls to send money via Credit or Debit cards are accepted from within the UK only.
Calls must be made from a landline phone at your home or place of work.
Finint DOES NOT accept calls from mobiles or coin boxes for security reasons.
Transactions will only be accepted on the basis that the telephone number the customer is calling from is displayed for us.
If you are calling from an ex-directory home phone or a business phone it is recommend that you dial 1470 before our free phone number. This will allow visibility of the telephone number you are calling from enabling the transaction to be completed without the need to redial.
The cardholder is the only person who can make the telephone call to initiate a credit/debit card transfer.
The payee must hold acceptable/documentary evidence of identification to collect a transfer. There is no option to send a transaction on a test question.
Charges via debit card are exactly the same as the cash service. For customers using a credit card there is an additional charge of 2.5%. You should note that this is a Western Union charge and in some cases your bank may charge an additional 2% for using their card for this type of transaction.
Transactions are limited to a maximum of £500 per cardholder per day.
New customers sending over £300 should allow 1 to 2 hours for their transaction to be completed. This is usually a one off and customers can expect future transactions to be completed during the course of the call to the customer services agent.
Customers need to be aware that all transactions are subject to approval by our validation department.
Finint UK LTD may employ additional security measures, some of which may involve calling your bank to confirm details. This is a random check for the benefit of both parties
We send a receipt of the transfer to you, together with the Western Union standard terms and conditions after the transfer is completed. You therefore have to agree to proceed with the transaction without receiving the information beforehand.
